About

An independent read, run from inside the trade.

attuneline is a small, self-funded project. It exists because the people who charter and deploy river cruise capacity need a directional read months earlier than the market currently offers one — and nobody was writing it for them.

Who we are — and who we are not

The shortest way to judge us is to read what we refuse to call ourselves.

Who we are

An independent project run by people who work in the European river cruise trade — chartering, deployment and season planning. We read public hydrological, meteorological and cryosphere data by hand, and publish one directional call per cycle with the evidence behind it.

Who we are not

Not a government body. Not a hydrographic or navigational authority. Not a gauge forecast — we do not predict water levels at a given station on a given day. Not investment advice. Every read is a directional interpretation of public data, and vessel-specific operational decisions remain with the operator.

Where every number comes from

We have no private data. That is deliberate: the public record on both rivers is already deep, and the scarce thing is not access — it is the reading.

What we have not measured yet

Stating the gaps is part of the product, not an admission against interest.

The baseline layer is still a framework, not a measurement. Terrestrial water storage (GRACE-FO) and glacier mass balance series (GLAMOS) are designed into the method and referenced in our long-horizon work, but they are not yet measured end to end here. Where a read depends on that layer, the report says so on its face instead of borrowing confidence it has not earned.

Judge the output, not the pitch.

Two unredacted reports are free to read. Pay only if the read turns out to be worth it.
